PLANT CARE

Light:

The Philodendron Birkin is best with plenty of bright and indirect sunlight. This plant doesn't like low-light situations. When it doesn't get enough sunlight, two things will happen. The first thing you'll notice is that the plant starts to grow towards a light source. The second thing is that the bright white lines on its leaves will start to fade to dark green

Watering:

This plant prefers to be kept slightly moist at all times but not soggy. Water the plant once a week in spring and summer, once every two weeks in winter.

Soil:

Philodendron Birkin is a mixture of these ingredients: General potting soil. Perlite for excellent drainage. Sphagnum moss to retain moisture

Temperature: The plant is happy with regular household temperatures but not too cold

Humidity:

The Philodendron Birkin is a tropical plant and loves humidity. This is part of the reason it loves to sit in moist soil most of the time.

Feeding: Use a balanced fertiliser on a monthly basis throughout the growing season.

Growth: These plants have a quick rate of growth if kept in optimal conditions. They love to climb, growing it up a moss pole works well.

Toxicity: This plant is considered poisonous to pets.
